Sourcing Story
Where this material came from and how we verified it.
📍 Origin
Hemp stalk sourced from certified farms in Kentucky and Tennessee
Hemp stalks — the woody inner fiber left after bast fiber processing — are compressed into interior-grade fiberboard using a zero-formaldehyde binder. The hemp is grown domestically, certified pesticide-free, and reaches harvest in under 120 days from seeding. No old-growth, no virgin timber.
⚖️ Diversion Impact
~12 lbs
diverted from landfill per 4×8 sheet.
✅ Quality Checks
- Zero-added-formaldehyde binder verified per CARB Phase 2 protocol
- Moisture content at shipment: 6–8%
- Internal bond strength tested per ASTM D1037 on each production lot
- Pesticide residue testing on crop source documentation, available on request
